Hometown Pride

I came across this short article written by Mark Doty in October's Smithsonian Magazine. I was immediately impressed by the honest and true portrayal of my hometown city of Houston. He describes the city as ephemeral: constantly changing and in flux. He also highlights the southern flair that makes the city uniquly personable and friendly.

Tam-
That was a really neat article. I don't think I would have been able to articulate any of the things he said about Houston myself, but I continually found myself agreeing with most everything he said. His writing style is awesome too. Thanks for sharing.
